Volunteers are needed for Mission Educate to be able to successfully carry out all of its projects and fundraisers. Scroll down to learn about the different ways you can help.

Student Connection Program

Our Student Connection Program is currently up and running. In this program, volunteers will be paired with a student who attends the K'iin Beh school in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Each pair of students will be online pen pals, exchanging emails and doing virtual activities together. This is a meaningful opportunity for anyone who is looking to form international connections with other students.

Collections

Collection managers help run the various collections we will be holding. They are assigned a specific category, such as art supplies or sports equipment. It is their responsibility to spread the word about their collection and keep track of the collected items on a spreadsheet until they are shipped. In addition to school equipment collections, they help manage the GoFundMe page for each project.


Supplies

We often use donated money to purchase supplies ourselves. Volunteers are needed to assist in this process. Supplies coordinators are responsible for helping to pick out needed supplies in stores and packaging them for shipping.
