About Us
Mission Educate is an organization run by students, for students. Through holding fundraisers and supplies drives, we assist underfunded schools across the globe in their efforts to provide an enriching education and a sense of community for their children. We aim to empower students to reach their greatest potential and instill meaningful values in their lives, placing an emphasis on cross-cultural exchange.
Our Foundational Project
Founded in 2011, K'iin Beh is a nonprofit foundation and school that provides a bilingual, value-based education to children in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. So far, K'iin Beh has managed to educate over 1,500 students in elementary and middle school and recently opened their first grade of high school.
Donations are essential in order for students at K'iin Beh to continue and enhance their academic progress. Your contribution will be used to improve the school. This includes building new classrooms, providing supplies, funding staff, and more. We will also be supporting students with yearly scholarships in K'iin Beh's Padrino Program.
Our Story
In August 2020, founder Alex Boyarski started working at Centro Educativo K’iin Beh as a 6th grade English instructor over Zoom. Watching his students grow and gain confidence throughout his first year teaching, he realized how empowering a good education can be. He deeply valued by their bilingual conversations that allowed him to learn about the lives of his students and Mexican culture. Inspired by the classes, he built Mission Educate to support the students at K’iin Beh, and eventually expanded his mission to other schools and communities across Latin America in need of funding.
